I've got a sweet smell coming into the car whenever the engine becomes warm. Pretty sure I see a filmy residue on the windshield. My guess is that it's a coolant leak. I bought a pressure tester kit and hooked it up to the radiator. I pumped it up to 10PSI. I know the system can handle 18PSI, but I didn't want to run the risk of damaging the cooling system.

You may still have some coolant residue in the box from a sloppy repair, and you could have some coolant dried up on the insulation.
