3 long beeps on boot
Three beeps that repeat after a pause and occur when you power on your computer indicate a problem with the system memory. Three beeps that play and then stop as the computer starts successfully mean that the BIOS was restored. While some other programs may also have a three-beep sound, those that mean you need to take action and repair your computer will sound right as the computer operating system is turning on, and the tones will replay after a pause. The beeps will continue until the computer is powered off and will play again when it's on unless the problem is fixed. The first thing to do is remove any extra RAM you added to the computer before turning it on. Once the RAM is removed, restart the computer and wait to see whether it powers on normally. If it does, try re-inserting the RAM and seeing whether you can install it more securely in the computer. You can also try to re-insert original RAM if the error occurs when you haven't installed new memory. Try cleaning the connection panels on the memory and on the computer itself,as well. If the computer still won't turn on after the memory is cleaned and positioned properly, you may need to purchase new memory or take your computer to be repaired. After switching out the original pair of RAM I turned on my PC only for it to start beeping 3 long beeps followed by 2 short beeps. My computer is properly connected to the monitor, but nothing appears. After opening it, I realized that one of the RAM sticks wasn't inserted and locked properly. I fixed the problem and tried to start it up agian only to have the same result. I even tried getting completely newer RAM sticks to replace the ones I just bought just in case I somehow messed up the previous ones, but I still get the same thing happen. It continuously beeps in this pattern for a few cycles until its just the LED power light flashing in a similar pattern. From what I can understand, the beeping might allude to the problem being with the RAM placement, but I've made sure that I placed the ram correctly. It's driving me nuts, man.

If the monitor is OK then is the monitor connected to the motherboard's vga port or is the monitor plugged into a GPU card inserted into a PCIe slot on the motherboard? What could be the problem and how can I fix it? The beeps will continue until the computer is powered off and will play again when it's on unless the problem is fixed. Thank You again. If they are I would see if you could try the modules in another system to see if they are functional, or try a different set of modules preferably ones that are known to be functional with the Gigabyte board.
