I'm even using a decent kicker brand amp and I'm still starved for bass from these things. For the big box store retail price of equal value you could do much better than the mediocre bass these things push. Seriously, shop around and maybe watch and listen to some performance videos and reviews and there are some hefty subs you can get for the same price that would blow these out of the kiddie pool.
