A nine-year-old girl has lost her life after being hit by a car in Melbourne's south-west in what police describe as a traumatic scene considering the "age and vulnerability" of the victim. The incident occurred just after 9pm in the suburb of Werribee where it is believed a car hit a nine-year-old girl who had been walking along Shaws Road.
