Na de dodelijke gebeurtenissen rondom hun huis zet de familie Abbott hun overlevingstocht in stilte voort in de buitenwereld, terwijl de geheimzinnige wezens op de loer liggen. Tijdens hun tocht ontdekken ze dat de wezens die op geluid afkomen niet het enige gevaar zijn. Hoge waarderingen voor een film die naar mijn mening maar vrij matig was. Ik vond het een vrij trage film waar maar weinig spanning inzat. Op een paar spannende scenes na echt minder dan deel 1 ondanks het prima acteren. Grootste ergernis wat ook al in deel 1 was: het jaag patroon van de aliens.
