Drivers are experiencing long delays on the A in Stoke-on-Trent this evening following a crash. The collision has happened on the southbound side of the D-road close to the junction with the A50 at Sideway roundabout. It's the latest incident on the A after two smashes on opposite sides of the carriageway this morning sparked rush-hour congestion. The latest accident was reported at around 6pm today February It is not yet known how many vehicles are involved or whether there are any serious injuries. Motorists are being warned of delays on the A following a collision. The smash on the northbound carriageway has resulted in a lane being shut while paramedics are at the scene. Footage from a motorist has showed a 4x4 on the verge with what looks to be a caravan behind it, unattached, on its side, and heavily damaged. Meanwhile an ambulance is also at the incident. Traffic monitoring system Inrix is reporting 'queuing traffic' in the area with one lane being shut. Meanwhile another motorist told StokeonTrentLive there are 'long delays' in the area.
