If you minimize the game while loading, before the menu screen loads, the game remains in a half quarter of the screen instead going full screen when you click again on it.

Install Steam. It makes sense that this would pop up in the basement games It sometimes goes away if you tab in and out and mess with the sound options. Then play a game in windowed mode with any of the above methods. You can just change the resolution so its still full screen. How is this bug still a thing? It happens on launch.
