Alfheim legendary chest

The sections on this page are ordered by when you can visit them earliest in the game. Additionally, there are no Legendary Chests in The Canyons. The Legendary Chest in The Strond is found just after you first use Twilight Stone to destroy a wooden door from behind and fight some Wretches. Standing in the doorway facing the way forward, you should see a ledge just ahead that you can drop down. Do so, head left, then destroy the debris blocking the way, then kill the two Wretches who show up. In the room beyond the doorway will be the Legendary Chest, sitting next to an Artifact. This chest can be found in a side-area just after Tyr jumps across some hanging panels to give you a way to cross a gap. At the bottom, turn right to find a fork guarded by four Wretches: make a U-turn to the left to drop down another ledge. Kill the two Wretches here, then open the Legendary Chest. It trades the small area of effect that Flames of Anguish has for dealing more damage to a singular target, making it good for using on a priority target.

When the sigils are in place, use sonic arrows to open the window, then hit the brazier with another hex arrow to light the chain, alfheim legendary chest. From beyond the first gate, take a left along a path to a gazebo with a Nornir Chest overlooking the river leading to the Ringed Temple. If you're looking for the last Legendary Chest in The Barrens of Alfheim, it might be in the cave located in the southern section of the area. You'll know it's the right cave if you can see red nodes from the Dark Elf hive matter glowing inside. To gain access to the cave and its Legendary Chest puzzle within, enter through a narrow crack in the wall on the right-hand side if looking at the red nodes. Look out for the small tree growing from the nearby rocks above the crack to find where it is exactly. You need to be so accurate, that you may have already discarded the correct solution because it doesn't appear to be working.

Like the chests of the norns in the region and like those of the kingdom of Svartalfheim, a small backtracking session will be necessary if you plan to clean everything from top to bottom. Arriving very close to the Alfheim temple, you will have to kill some calamities after the door to be unlocked with the moonstone. Simply drop down by relying on the white markers on the ledge then go left to pick up this very first Alfheim Legendary Chest. As you ascend the temple, you will come across the glowing ledge indicated by the first image below. Go down into this hole, eliminate the calamities and search the corner a bit to find a crow, an acquaintance and the famous legendary chest. When you need to move a mechanism to change the level of a moonstone, open the door on the right for a small puzzle leading to a new legendary chest. First of all direct the moonstone so that your ax goes to sink into the wall opposite.

Walk down the path until you reach the Nornir Chest. It might take a few tries to get the exact positioning right, but if you follow the pictures below, you should unlock this Barrens Legendary Chest in a few attempts. There are 5 Legendary Chests located in the realm of Alfheim. You have to throw the axe at the correct area of the Twilight Stone, however, and stand in the exact right spot beside the third red node for the recall to break it. The chest contains the Rune-Engraved Release accessory, which makes the first Runic-charged arrow like Sonic Arrows deal more damage if his quiver is full. This Legendary Chest is found at the door puzzle shortly after your first encounter with Light Elf Mystics the ones that focus on ranged attacks. With the corruption removed, walk up and open the nearby Legendary Chest to get the Rond of Affliction. Pin it. It should rebound to the right Twilight Stone, then off of that into the three Nest Vines! Follow the pathway we described for the lore scroll above. You need to be so accurate, that you may have already discarded the correct solution because it doesn't appear to be working. You can either toss your axe it from the beach, or from the balcony on the side of the large tree.

Use the nearby wheel mechanism to rotate the bars all the way, and watch as they rotate back slowly to align while facing the only stationary core at the top. Look for a column to your left, which has some purple crystal gunk on it. The Legendary Chest in this southern cave contains the 'Rond of Affliction' Shield Attachment, which consumes the status of afflicted enemies when a shield bash is used, causing an elemental explosion. This is a bell chest, which requires you to make sure all three bells are ringing at once to unlock the seals. From the balcony over the water, head right to find the path blocked by two roots you can cleave apart. Just make sure you're altering where Kratos is standing before throwing the axe if the recall doesn't seem to be working for you at all. Olrun is a fast fighter, and you may need to keep up with her quick attacks with light attacks of your own - as long slow attacks from either weapon may leave you open to her fast sweeps and lunges.
