The initial release of the title boasted 20 different armor all armor totk, with three more added as part of the Master Trials DLC. Armor in TOTK are unbreakable items that up your defense and offer special effects. In The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Link can find a great variety of armor, including armor that ups your attack, lets you glide, lets you climb faster, lets keep warm, and many other effects. Most sets of armor have special bonuses when the complete set is worn. Armor is essential equipment, and knowing where to find armor sets and understanding how to make them stronger at Great Fairies can often be the difference between life and repeated death. Many pieces of armor can be found extensively exploring the caves of Hyrule , and many more are in The Depths, some with Old Maps found in the Sky pointing to them.
