A creative Animal Crossing: New Horizons player creates a series of images depicting a few of the villagers as human beings. These humanized images are some of the most imaginative pieces of fan art in the Animal Crossing: New Horizons community. For Animal Crossing fans, the villagers in the game are more like friends. It may seem corny, but after interacting with the same villagers for hours every day, players often connect with their quirks and personalities to the point where each villager feels like a real person. Reddit user MurlaTart took this concept to a whole new level by creating fan art that shows what four different villagers would look like if they were actually human.

This day and age, producing fan art based on something you're passionate about is about as common as weed in a town you've neglected for months. Still, it is absolutely one of the best ways to showcase your love for something and Animal Crossing is no different. I searched far and wide across the internet to find some incredibly great Animal Crossing fan art in honor of the new release coming in just a matter of days. Most of the threads on my search took me back to DeviantArt which is a haven for art of all kinds. The following top ten list is not necessarily some objective definitive list but they were the top ten that I saw. Each one was something special in my eyes and I tried to find a vast array of art styles and concepts. There were so many great pieces of art that I even found myself having six honorable mentions, which I will post in the thread later so not to lengthen the main list any further. With that said, enjoy! This villager is done up in a very simplistic art style using no outlining at all and yet a harsh lack of shading to really define the lines for the artist. The concept of using a leaf as a parasol reminded me of some very pleasant memories I've had in past Animal Crossing games as well as the New Leaf coming out soon. Louness26's DeviantArt Page Number nine in the countdown isn't a 2D art of any kind and is in fact a neat and functional real life Bells Bag. For a homemade craft, this makes for a simple and elegant piece of art.
I like 10 the most, the parasol is an actual item in the game I believe. Sasha - AC Sabrina Beale.
An Animal Crossing: New Horizons player has imagined what a movie poster for the game may look like that shares some similarities with the anime that was inspired by Animal Crossing: Wild World. Though it has received a film adaptation in Japan, the Animal Crossing franchise hasn't gotten the same treatment in the West, and one fan has an idea of what it may look like if it was based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Reddit user Lopsided-Lab recently shared an Animal Crossing: New Horizons fan art that looks like a movie poster showing the game's Japanese title, Dobutsu no Mori. The Japanese film Gekijoban Dobutsu no Mori hit some theaters in , and it celebrated some of the themes and characters from Animal Crossing: Wild World , but it never received a follow-up despite multiple games in the series having been released since. When Animal Crossing: New Horizons was released back in , it broke franchise records and eventually saw the release of an add-on called Happy Home Paradise , and some fans are hoping that it gets an even bigger anime release than Wild World did. Given that three of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons characters included in Lopsided-Lab's movie poster are villagers, it's likely that they would play the role of friends to the protagonist which isn't featured in the fan art.
One dedicated artist and fan of Animal Crossing: New Horizons has managed to fit every single character into a drawing. With over villagers available to inhabit player's islands plus a large number of NPCs, it's an undertaking that very few even consider. But this fanart proves that the feat is more than possible. When Animal Crossing: New Horizons launched in March , few expected it to be the massive runaway hit it ended up becoming. While the life simulation game has always been a moderate success for Nintendo, it was mostly seen as a niche title. As of this writing, Nintendo has reportedly sold over 31 million copies of the game.

Who else messes with anything after just ONE of those deals? I really like 8 and 4, but Blue E. This easily made the cut because of it's unique mix of two very different games, plus it was kind of nice to see an obscure Animal Crossing character get the spotlight for once. Sign Up. Some of the finer details of Lopsided-Lab's fan art are an item leaf that could be one of the countless pieces of Animal Crossing: New Horizons furniture , multiple flowers derived from the game, coconut trees, a fruit tree, and a Squeakoid which is part of the Gyroid library. Green E We have to give another shoutout to Omochi for another beautiful Animal Crossing -related creation. This image drums up feelings of waking up at an Airbnb cottage and just enjoying the wintery scenery.
