We ended up winning the match in a close Game 9! Per the rules of the format, we had to bring five decks and get a win with all five of them. You can still play a deck after it has lost, but once you win with a deck, it is gone. Hearthstone uses classes to prevent players from doubling up on decks. In testing for this match, the Arceus deck felt like it had a ton of potential even outside of the Conquest format. In this article, I will be going over why we decided to look at Arceus, what made us decide on the deck, and how I would play it for an open tournament.

The metagame has aligned very well for the deck, as it greatly benefited from the release of Iono sv giving it another hand-disrupting Supporter to go alongside Judge sv Aside from that, not a whole lot has changed. If you haven't played Skwovet sv with Bibarel swsh , you'll soon find that the draw power is pretty awesome, and Umbreon VMAX swsh is really strong in this format. Here Giratina VSTAR swsh takes care of that, and after lots of testing, it feels like the deck's best partner right now. Cleansing Gloves swsh gives you an out to a Gardevoir ex sv KO, though Choice Belt sv would be nice to negate V Guard Energy swsh against a few specific decks.
