Hours : Courtney St, Victoria Menu. Rented the attic to run a trivia night with Think Tank for my partner's birthday. The booking process was easy and friendly, the food was great, and the space was perfect. I don't think we made a single request that they didn't find some way to accommodate. Definitely recommend for something similar. December If you are every looking for a private event space in downtown Victoria, I would seriously recommend you consider the Argyle Attic. Back at the beginning of July, I was looking for a venue to host a post-engagement surprise party.

Fireplace, couches, old photos, Hudson Bay Company blanket, maybe a pair of antlers and a worn-out sled. Probably not. Well, good news: you can now enjoy all of these pleasures in one place at the newly minted Argyle Attic. Open for breakfast and lunch, then reopening for dinner and late night, the Argyle Attic works both as a start-the-day-right eatery and evening hang-out, with memorable style sans pretension. At the moment, Argyle Attic has its own unique breakfast menu, but shares its lunch and dinner offerings with Smiths the kitchen serves both locations. Despite their close relationship, the atmosphere between Smiths and Argyle Attic is distinctly and delightfully different. Whereas Smiths is synonymous with loud music, pints, and a healthy dose of brouhaha, Argyle Attic offers a low key, relaxed vibe — the kind of place to converse over a casual meal and a few nice cocktails. All in all, the place is in one word, satisfying. From the well-rounded menu to the vast and intriguing collection of whiskies, this quirky comfort joint is definitely worth a visit. The Argyle Attic was around the corner from our hotel when we visited Victoria, BC — we were in a great area with lots of selection, but twice we visited, once for lunch when our feet were far too sore to go anywhere else and once for breakfast when we wanted breakfast close to home the next morning. The location might be a bit hard to find though if you go looking for it — we entered through our hotel both days, going down a long hallway and then a few steps into the pub. Neither entrance is accessible, which is too bad. Tags: beef dip , feta , pub , pub food , summer , travel , Vancouver Island , Victoria , watermelon. This site uses Akismet to reduce spam.

Back at the beginning of July, I was looking for a venue to host a post-engagement surprise party. Since it was Canada Day long weekend, not a lot of venues were taking reservations for larger parties. From the pre-event communication and Had the Chicken Katsu sandwich on sourdough, and it was super yummy.
