Does anyone use the Plesiosaur to tame a Tusoteuthis? It's got alot of health. Would it be to slow? I just use a Mosa, biggest risk is the squid letting go just after you dismount to feed it, other than that it's a pretty easy tame. Don't see why a high health plessy couldn't work as well though My taming mosa has around 35K health and rarely loses more than 10K on a tame. Definitely dont use a turtle. Slow, clunky and frustrating when everything in the ocean aggros onto you.

Elasmosaurus Remuspissa has a strange role in the oceanic food chain. It almost exclusively hunts the smaller creatures in the waters, leaving most even moderately large creatures such as humans alone. The sheer size of the Elasmosaurus means that the quantity of creatures it must eat to sustain itself is nothing short of enormous. Despite its imposing size, Elasmosaurus still has natural predators. Well, a natural predator: the Megalodon. Apart from that monstrous creature, I myself have only ever seen two creatures bring down an Elasmosaurus: a Spinosaurus that found its way into the deeps not common , and humans. Though I will admit, I have yet to fully explore the staggering deep underwater caverns surrounding the island. Much like the Brontosaurus on land, Elasmosaurus is an excellent way to transport large quantities of goods over water. These powerful creatures are in fact so large that they can be used as mobile water bases. Ambitious tribes sometimes build bunkers right onto the backs of Elasmosaurus instead of building cargo ships. The Elasmosaurus , more commonly known as the Plesiosaurus or Plesiosaur , is a large carnivorous reptile found in the deepest depths of the oceans of the Ark. The Plesiosaur has an almost teardrop-shaped body.

My friend told me to try this method, but I was looking to see if there was a better way to do it. For general info about domesticating a wild ark mobile plesiosaur see Taming. FenTheReaper Posted November 30,

Wild plesios won't swim to the surface, you can use this to swim just above it while shooting tranq safely, no tames or traps needed though without a trap, it's exposed to mantas and sharks.

These miniature pets are primarily a cosmetic item, except for leveling as discussed below, equipped by the survivor in the off-hand slot. When equipped, the chibi-pet appears in front and to the left of the survivor. Moving around causes the pet to follow and reposition itself where the survivor is facing. The chibi-pets are seen in the survivor's lap while riding mounts, and sit nearby while in a bed. Note that for the Tek Sleeping Pod the pets still follow the position, except facing upwards at the survivor's right, since survivors sleep on their backs in the pods instead of on their sides. Chibi-Pets can be leveled up five times up to level 6 by killing certain predators while having the pet equipped. Each level up permanently increases the maximum level by 1 up to 5 extra levels of the survivor who's got the chibi equipped at the time of a level-up.

German English. The Plesiosaur in ARK: Survival Evolved is an aggressive, carnivorous aquatic creature that mainly hunts small creatures. The trap can be a square of behemoth gates, stone pillars, and ceilings on top to cover the top so they don't swim up.
