By prodigyJune 18, in General Discussion. Okay, ark rex, so I made a thread about all of the backlash regarding the Arkaeology event, so if you have something to say about that plz say it ark rex. This thread is about what is, in my opinion, the most interesting piece of content added in this update; the tek rex.

Ark rex

The Alpha T-Rex is a bigger, stronger version of a Rex which rarely spawns towards the inland areas of the island. In addition to their own strength, they also buff the damage and resistance of any nearby wild carnivores. They pose a significant threat to any players who aren't fully prepared to encounter one. Alpha Creatures cannot be knocked out. The best way to kill one of these beasts is by using a strong Quetzalcoatlus or Argentavis with points put into Health , Melee Damage , and Stamina. Use Raw Meat to heal them in the battle. You can also use a Giganotosaurus. They also frequently drop recipes, high-quality weapons and armor, and various other items. Alpha T-Rexes do not drop normal Raw Meat when harvested. Instead, they give very large quantities of Raw Prime Meat. The Alpha T-Rex is, much like the normal Rex , aggressive to anything around it. They move extremely fast and do large amounts of damage.

The Tyrannosaurus Dominum is one of the largest creatures that have appeared during the late Cretaceous period and are extremely aggressive carnivores. As this creature walks, the earth trembles and those who can feel the ground shaking as this creature approaches better run as soon as possible or else they will feel the powerful bite from it which can crush both small creatures and humans alike due to its large size and brute strength. Tribes call these creatures Rex as a shortcut to their name and have seen these massive creatures wandering around, preying on creatures smaller or even of equal size to it. The Rex will attack survivors and other creatures the moment it sees them and will chase until too much distance is gained or until they lose range but other than that, anything is ideally a snack for this vicious creature, including you.
