Not all of Alheim is available when you first visit, with some areas being locked off until later in the story. This Artifact in The Strond is found just after you first use Twilight Stone to destroy a wooden door from behind and fight some Wretches. Standing in the doorway facing the way forward, you should see a ledge just ahead that you can drop down. Do so, head left, then destroy the debris blocking the way, then kill the two Wretches who show up. In the room beyond the doorway will be the Artifact, sitting next to a Legendary Chest. The first Artifact of this series is found shortly after your first fight with Light Elves. Continue forward by lifting the huge fallen chunk of rock, then go down the stairs. At the bottom, turn right to spot the Artifact sitting near a Nornir Chest and a yellow Wind Fissure in the rock. This Artifact is incredibly difficult to miss. Once up there, go left to a balcony, getting you the right angle to bounce the Axe off a Twilight Stone and destroy the light crystal. The poem will be on this very balcony. The Burrows is where you free the Hafgufa from its Nest Matter bonds. At the far end will be the Artifact, close to a Legendary Chest. Get in via the grapple points on the South-West side. Defeat the Light Elves you find in the main plaza, then locate a spot on the Eastern wall you can slip through.

Collecting Artefacts in God of War: Ragnarok unlocks a rare trophy named "The Curator" along with giving players a more in-depth perspective on the world and people within certain realms, including Alfheim. The second major location players visit in the game, Alfheim, hosts a much wider map with distinct locations that contrast it from the previous realm of Svartalfheim or even Midgard. Once you have restored power to the main Bridge to the Ringed Temple in the area below it, head to the upper bridge on the side opposite the door out to reach a dead end with several Light Elf bodies. After restoring the Light of Alfheim, return to the lake's edge past the bridge leading to the temple and take the lift back down into the Ringed Temple Trench look for the lift made of light, no to be confused with the lift using the sand bowl on the other island at the other end of the trench. Look around the cells in the lift room to spy one with the body of a dead Light Elf.
