And of course…The theme song!! Although it did have some errors in it, so I typed my own lyrics out. That I got by typing out what was said when I listened to the song. About three times, so as not to mess it up.. And so, Imma post the lyrics for the theme song. Which, now that I listen to the song, is suuuper motivational, and perfectly perfect for raising kids. Every day when your walking down the street, And everybody that you meet Has an original point of view. And I say Hey- Hey! What a wonderful kind of day If we could learn to work and play, And get along with each other. You gotta listen to your heart, Listen to the beat, Listen to the rhythm, The rhythm of the street. Open up your eyes, Open up your ears. Get together and make things better By working together. What a wonderful kind of day, if we could learn to work and play, and get along with each other! What a wonderful kind of day, if we could learn to work and play, and get a long with each other!

General Comment It's a pretty song, but it has some of the laziest rhyming ever. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through.
