Consistently a great place to buy furniture. I've been shopping there since they opened waaaaaaaay back on, God, was it Gottingen? I mean, before Granville. Great place to browse and dream as well. I've been shopping there off and on since they first opened on Granville Street. I love their new spot on Robie, though, it shows everything off so well Over the years we've bought a beautiful dining room table set and sideboard, leather sofas, storage items and various odds and ends. It is a great place to browse through looking for inspiration. What has always struck me is, when you are looking for something specific that they don't have in their showroom, they will really dig in and help you delve through their many catalogues to put together the look you want and then order it for you. They also do custom work and Christopher Joyce is a real artist in combining wood, metal and other materials to create one-of-a-kind installations many are featured in the showroom. This adds a dimension that no other home furnishings store in Halifax can match.
