Yarra Junction Reserve is an excellent recreational facility in Yarra Junction, a quaint town aptly named because it sits at the junction of two rivers. View on Map. This Gothic church features pointed arches and flying support, as if telling a good story. In the forest on the south side of town, La La Falls is one of the best walks in Warburton. The restaurant is currently closed, however, when open serves the best food in the region. After their recent restoration, the historic Alpine Hotel is just that place. The result is astonishingly good - their baguettes are beautiful, while the sourdough loaves are so wonderfully dense and flavoursome, we keep coming back for more and more. In the summer, the surrounding mountains and Yarra river provide a welcome respite to the blistering heat of Melbourne.
