Babyliss Pro Perfect Curl Review. I can't even describe how excited I was when I was offered a chance to review this amazing, revolutionary hair tool. It has been on my wishlist since it launched and I actually expected to receive it as a Christmas present from my husband this year : As you can see, Christmas came early and I couldn't be happier. As soon as I photographed the tool, I plugged it in and gave it a go. I didn't take me long to figure out how to use it, because it couldn't be easier. You simply choose your preferred setting, get a small section 3cm of your hair and place it in the curler, where you want the curl to start. Once the hair is in place, let go of the hair section and close the handle to allow the hair to be automatically taken into the curl chamber.

And also like an incredibly expensive hair curling… device. In fact, I seem to remember forcing my entire family to watch endless You Tube videos demonstrating the thing. They thought they were gathered together to celebrate the joys of the festive season: instead, they watched some random vloggers attempt to curl their hair. Being somewhat challenged in the hair curling department, I really, really wanted one of these, but it took me almost a year to bring Terry up to speed, and convince him that we just could not go on living without a better way to curl our hair. As I said, this is unlike most other curling devices you might have used. First, you take a strand of hair, about a couple of inches wide, then you feed it into the barrel of your gun — I mean your Babyliss Curl Secret — placing the device about halfway up the shaft of hair. As soon as you close the jaws of the beast — I mean the Babyliss Curler — it will start to suck in the rest of the lock of hair. It will make a slightly ominous-sounding mechanical sound while it does this. Do not be alarmed…. When I was reading reviews of this before buying it, I noticed that a lot of people mentioned being scared to use it in case something went wrong, and their hair got stuck in it, or it just continued all the way up the shaft of hair and ate their head or something.

There is nothing in my opinion to compare to this product. It really performs, like a dream and while its price tag is steep, think of all those trips to the hairdresser you will save on! I certainly have, I can create salon style curls at home, in half the time. My friends think my hair looks sensational and I feel fantastic.

Anyway, when those loose wave styles aka wavy gravy, were all over the place a couple of years ago, I bought the BaByliss Boutique Soft Waves Styler. I got one last year and love it. This is going to be short and sweet. It is super easy to use and it only takes me to do a full head of perfect curls, without burning my face or getting sore arms : Pro Perfect Curl is a trade version of the tool, but you can also buy the retail version called Babyliss Curl Secret - slightly cheaper, but it has less temperature and timer settings, 2 heaters instead of 3 and a shorter swivel cord. I think Curl Secret works best on longer hair — regardless of age. I tried this at a friends house and my hair got stuck! Love it! You simply choose your preferred setting, get a small section 3cm of your hair and place it in the curler, where you want the curl to start.

It will make a slightly ominous-sounding mechanical sound while it does this. I wonder how this would work on someone with my length hair just above the shoulder hmmm. My hair is slightly below shoulder length, but because of the long layers, the curls were short and springy. It feels quite strange at the beginning, but once you see how it works, you will be able to curl your hair without any real effort and your arms won't be sore from trying to manoeuvre the tool.
