Baepsae meaning
Korean crow-tit is a small bird, also known as parrotbill. It is a metaphor for someone with no privilege opposite of those born with baepsae meaning spoon in their mouth.
I am aware of the fact that one can find different — how should I call it — aspects in "Baepsae" also known as "Try-Hard", "Silver Spoon" and "Crow Tit". This includes the parrotbill and stork aspect, the job market aspect and last but not least the silver spoon aspect. These days, the silver spoon has become a symbol of the worsening social conflict or rather division in the hierarchical country South Korea. This phenomenon is widely talked about in online communities, in other words it became a newly coined word that is frequently used among the younger generations. It is referred to as "the spoon class theory". Each spoon equaling a different wealth or social status. This idea of the silver spoon that is mentioned in the song "Baepsae", does come from the same western idea of being born with a silver spoon in your mouth.

We international K-pop fans tend to be a bit blinded towards the extreme impacts and influences of the modern hierarchical Korean society nowadays. Thank you. This is an old, well-known western saying which describes a person who is born into a rich family. A society that hinders anger and pessimistic behavior, a society that causes psychological disorders such as depression and obsessive compulsive neurosis, a society that motivates to commit suicide, is that what we really want? Many new fans are confused as to what it means. This is not normal. Loans suck! I just found out this blog today and enjoyably surfed your posts. They do seem to work incredibly hard though… 5. BTS is all for hard work and effort! The comic was funny. Ah, try harder, ah, try harder. Not only that your ramblings are wonderfully written, exceedingly organised and they transmits a detailed explanation of the songs, but more than that they actually increase my love for BTS, because your writings make me understand the wonderful and deep meaning of their music, and the genius background of their lyrics. Recently these dirt spooners have been voicing their frustration and opinion towards the barriers they face in terms of job opportunities and social mobility, since this spoon status prevents them in many ways. The porcelain spoon used to be a dirt spoon but was "baked" in order to become higher in worth.
The members of BTS call themselves "baepsae" because they feel like outsiders that the more well-off and privileged members of society look down upon or ostracize. While the older generations, represented by the "hwangsae," seem to have it all together, the younger generation, represented by the "baepsae," struggle and have to work much harder to succeed.
And this negative trend in Korean society is no joke. College is incredible. The porcelain spoon used to be a dirt spoon but was "baked" in order to become higher in worth. Thank you so much!!! As expected of Stork! This generation had a hard time. Oh, are you crazy? Into ARMY's? Thank you. To put it another way, the spoon theory sheds light on the fact that the younger generation of South Korea is, ironically, forced through this vicious competitive system out of no reason at all, since advancement within this market system is hopelessly impossible.
