She was voiced by Bridget Fonda in the first movie, and Jodi Benson in the two sequels. In the original film, Jenna is kind and sensible, being the only town dog shown who never fawns over Steele and openly stands up to him. She is highly loyal to her owner, Rosy , as evidenced when she stays by her side and does her best to keep watch over her while she is ill with diphtheria. Despite Balto's outcast status, Jenna is compassionate to him and is his only friend in town. Her feeling grow closer to Balto as he shown her to care about Rosy as Rosy didn't view Balto as a threat and later, Jenna would save Balto from being killed from the bear as also getting injured in the process. Jenna gave her bandanna to Balto in hope of keeping him warm and also worrying about Balto going by himself. She dislikes Steele for his remarks about Balto and his arrogant attitude, and always sticks up for Balto whenever present, scolding Steele and calling him a "glory-hound.

Her bandanna is more reddish, and though she isn't as bright red, she isn't as dark as she was in Wolf Quest. In The Junior Novelization, Jenna is described as a pretty rusty-and-cream husky with a bright bandanna, as well as being the prettiest dog in Nome. Jenna is a purebred Siberian Husky. At eight weeks old, she was adopted by Rosy and her parents. As an adult, she is close friends with Dixie and Sylvie , and the three of them often watch the end of sled races together on Front Street.

Jenna is a character in the Balto movie trilogy, the love interest and later mate of Balto and the mother of Aleu , Kodi , Dingo , and Saba. She was voiced by Bridget Fonda in the first film while Jodi Benson plays her in the sequels. In the Japanese dub from the movie, she was voiced by the late Toshiko Fujita and currently by Keiko Toda. Jenna was first seen with her owner, Rosy when Rosy got her first sled and the girls include Jenna's friends Dixie and Sylvie went to the sled-dog race until Rosy's hat was blow and was in the middle of the race. Then, Balto came along and racing to get Rosy's hat before the sled-dog team was heading toward the hat.

When the bear has Balto pinned to the snow under his paw and raises his other to strike the killing blow, Jenna attacks with a battle cry, grabbing onto the bear's raised paw with her teeth. In The Junior Novelization, it is said that Jenna didn't know Balto very well, but liked him despite what the others said. Soon, when Balto was chosen to help Kodi save his job, Balto believed he wouldn't keep that since he's he was worried he couldn't beat the plane since he couldn't outrun it and Jenna sings a song to him and Balto would be encouraged to help his son. Rosy's Parents Even when they hardly interacted, Jenna cares about them even not going against them. Jenna replies calmly that she won't, rendering Sylvie speechless.
