Ronno isnt particularly stupid, but he is very impulsive, reckless and short sighted thanks to his big ego, which causes no end of trouble for him. Might Makes Right : The main source of Ronno's sense of entitlement , as he's older and at first physically stronger than Bambi. The midquel then expands his character back, but only really rebuilds his character on his rival status, portraying his rivalry with Bambi growing and building from childhood rather than having him become a rival only after Bambi grows up. Amusing Injuries : He's a frequent recipient of these due to his Karmic Butt-Monkey status in the midquel, though this is outright averted whenever he fights Bambi. In the midquel, his fight with Bambi is actually the setup for the films climax, where Bambi has to deal with the far greater threat of Man and his hounds instead. Miles Gloriosus : In his child form at least. Self-Disposing Villain : In the Post-Climax Confrontation of the midquel, Bambi doesn't even bother directly dealing with Ronno as he boasts to him; he simply stands by and lets him walk right into the path of a snapping turtle, who bites his nose and sends him running off wailing while Bambi and friends share a laugh at his expense.
