I dont know if there is any sword beside the one you can get by joining faction or crafting it by yourself. Glaive, two-handed axe, and for prison breaks two-handed swords. Craft legendary weapons, and you can find something perfect for you. I'm sure there's a mathematically "best" weapon out there but I prefer the falx sword. Its both one hand and two hand. You can march up with the shieldwall and put away the shield and start chopping. Also has the shield damage bonus but I don't think I ever broke a shield ever. Rhomphalia is my polearm of choice. Probably has the best swing speed for its range and damage so still deadly on foot. I do have a soft spot for the empire vassal sword though. I just like it for no gameplay related reason.
