Every year the anniversary of the restaurant is celebrated with a party between the 18th and 25th of June. We were recommended to this restaurant at the local campsite. When we arrived, although it was early we were unable to eat on the terrace as it was fully booked. However, we had a "Shirley Valentine" moment on the beach, and enjoyed fresh Octopus cooked We will be returning again next week, and booking the terrace this time! Our main courses comprised grilled sardines, grilled octopus, steamed mussels and a monkfish and prawn skewer with some side dishes. Service was friendly and attentive. We were also pleased about the value for money. I would have no hesitation in returning. Very enjoyable.

What an experience! We stayed a night in Toledo and chose El Penon as our family dinner spot. We started with delicious Vermut and sparkling water, followed by a bottle of crisp Albarino.
