The story building is connected via an enclosed walkway to the Center for Advanced Medicine. Parking is available in the Laclede Garage, connected to the Center for Outpatient Health by an enclosed pedestrian walkway and accessible from Laclede Ave. Handicap parking is available on every level near the elevators. More than 1, new patients and more than 10, return patients were seen in the Lung Center in fiscal year There are frequently internal medicine residents and medical students present in clinic as well. The pulmonary function laboratory is conveniently located across the hall from the Lung Center. There are multiple clinics weekly focused on general pulmonary referrals and longitudinal follow-up and care for patients with both acute and chronic lung diseases. The care in the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic is provided by a multidisciplinary team including attending physicians, fellows, nurse coordinators, dieticians, and social workers. Once or twice each month, Marina Litvin, MD , from the Division of Endocrinology is also present in clinic to see and co-manage patients with diabetes or other endocrine-related complications of cystic fibrosis.
