Beerus

He is one of the utmost powerful beings in the entirety of Universe 7, feared by even the Kais. Despite his dreaded "profession", beerus, he's a surprising exception to the commonly beerus monster that a Dragon Ball Z villain usually is, which is good considering he's leagues and leagues stronger than all of them. After this, he goes on to become a supporting character throughout Dragon Ball Superquite often as an ally.
Beerus made his first appearance in the feature film Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods as the main antagonist and returned as a supporting character in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' , as well as one of the main characters in Dragon Ball Super. He is a deity resembling a purple cat wearing traditional Egyptian clothing and ornaments, whose occupation is to maintain balance in the universe by destroying planets, in contrast to the Supreme Kais who create and preserve them. It has been stated that Beerus is capable of destroying entire universes by Whis. Often seen destroying planets at a whim, Beerus' two sole desires are, being quite a gourmet, enjoying food he likes to eat and fighting opponents whom he considers as worthy. The latter ultimately leads him to look for the Super Saiyan God who turns out to be one of the Saiyans now living on Earth. Eventually, Goku , with the help of the other Saiyans, transforms into the Super Saiyan God and fights Beerus, just to be defeated by the God of Destruction. Having enjoyed the match, Beerus spares both Goku and the Earth, saying that Goku was the second strongest opponent he ever faced; the first being his caretaker and martial arts teacher, Whis.

With unorthodox buttons and bizarre special moves, he's not playing a regular neutral; all the while, he asks for a lot of resources to do his job. Don't let any of that fool you into thinking Beerus is anything but the best setplayer in Dragon Ball FighterZ, uncontested to this accolade. A skilled Beerus player will never ever give you a moment to rest as he lays trap after trap. This week we've been graced with the presence of the ill-tempered, food-loving God of Destruction, Beerus! Beerus is the God of Destruction of Goku's home universe, Universe 7. He and the Supreme Kai are two sides of the same coin; where the Supreme Kai creates, Beerus destroys, turning beings of all nature and even entire planets to dust. He awoke from his year slumber after seeing a vision of a great battle he would fight against the Super Saiyan God of legend. Beerus accepts the Saiyan's request for a fight and swiftly disposes of him in just two hits, demonstrating the phenomenal power he wields. In order to extract information about the Super Saiyan God from Vegeta, Beerus makes an uninvited appearance at Bulma's birthday party.
Throughout the years, Beerus has become one of the most recognizable characters from the Dragon Ball series. While he first appears as an antagonist, The God of Destruction has since become a source of comic relief throughout the story. While he resembles a pointy-eared cat, he was originally a lizard before his design was changed by series creator Akira Toriyama. In an interview translated by Kanzenshuu , Toriyama discussed aspects of the story, often providing new information about the world. He was asked several questions about the protagonists' private lives and the Neko Majin race from his self-parody manga. However, when asked if he modeled any of the characters after real people, Toriyama delivered a surprisingly wholesome response. It's called a Cornish Rex; it's a bit of a rare breed.

The Dragon Ball franchise has created some interesting characters over the years, but none quite as unique or controversial as the God of Destruction named Beerus. Typical of a god, he has a high opinion of himself and a sense of aloofness. However, his personality is unlike any of the other evil villains from the Dragon Ball franchise, which is why his mentor and martial arts master Whis is in charge of keeping close tabs on him. He also has a love for gourmet food.

If someone else, like say Trunks and the Future Warrior, just so happen to destroy Demigra while he's taking his nap, oh well. After finishing his nap and seeing that Shallot has fully recovered, he gives Shallot, Bulma, and Jaco a mission to go back to Earth and find five righteous Saiyans, as Beerus realizes Shallot will require the power of a God to combat Giblet who also seeks to become a Super Saiyan God which only intensifies after his humiliating loss to Super Saiyan God Goku. At first, he is presented as a lazy Jerkass God who gets away with acting like a Spoiled Brat due to his status as a Destroyer Deity. System Mechanics. God of Destruction's Rampage. Fortunately, Beerus had Bulma and Jaco transport Shallot to safety. However, it should be noted that by sealing Old Kai in the Z Sword he may have inadvertently saved the wise Supreme Kai from perishing or being absorbed during Kid Buu's rampage, allowing Old Kai to assist the Z Fighters and Shin during the Majin Buu conflict, during which time Beerus was asleep and unable to assist Shin in dealing with the powerful Majin. He also needs constant stimulation when he's awake, otherwise, he will grow bored and destroy more planets than he needs to for petty reasons. Plus, Beerus makes the Supreme Kai's job harder by destroying planets over bad food and even trapping Old Kai in a sword for millions of years. Beerus asks Champa why he is in the Seventh Universe since the Hakaishin of the Sixth Universe has no business in his universe; Champa replies that he is merely visiting and expresses surprise that Beerus is awake. Whis asks Beerus again if sending the Saiyan duo to that place was the best choice, to which the Hakaishin has no problem with as it is the best way to get stronger fast so that they can play with him.

Beerus was so panicked that he begged Whis to tell Goku how to counter it. Punny Name : According to the movie's scriptwriter , "Birusu" comes from a Japanese pronunciation of "virus". This section is still being written. Beerus ends up taking the heat for Meerus's sacrifice and he and Shin are forced to become the Zenos' playmates while their bodyguards take a vacation. However, as the pudding was made by Chronoa herself, who is notorious for her poor cooking skills, Beerus is enraged at how horrible it was, forcing Whis and the Future Warrior to subdue him as Goku is incapacitated by stomach cramps after eating some of the pudding. As their fighting between the two could easily destroy both Universe 6 and Universe 7, Beerus and Champa have agreed to food competitions as a way to compete without causing needless destruction, though as shown by Champa's visit to Beerus' planet during the Universe 6 Saga in the anime which resulted in a brief fight that destroyed a good portion of the room before Whis and Vados stepped in. He's really against Goku's idea of an All-Universe Tournament because it involves Zeno ; he even threatens to vaporize Goku. Hypocrite Has a Point : While Beerus doesn't really have the right to blame Shin for their low mortal level given that he didn't do his job either, even making the Supreme Kai's life harder by destroying planets for petty reasons, he is somewhat correct that Shin should really be more pro-active in the development of mortal life, such as either stopping any threats to the development of his universe himself or train the Z Fighters to have them prepare for beings such as Frieza or Cell while maintaining his hands-off approach in aiding mortal life. After Whis threatens him with his bad singing, Beerus awakens. For that tone of story, Beerus and Whis are perfect. Scattorin, Lorenzo Italian. To me, everything after their Battle of Gods appearance has been the exact same thing over and over and over again and they have shown almost no characterization besides the fact that Beerus is afraid of the Omni-King. He's the only movie character and villain at this point of the series to defeat Goku, and far surpass him, even with an additional power-up.
