Check oil,noticed pink coolant level low. No immediate prob.

I've heard that dexcool is very acidic and that the green antifreeze is the best to put back in. What are any of yalls experiences with this. Just hope air hasn't got into the system and turned it to gel. Once done with that, flush it really good the way I recommended. I then pulled the lower radiator hose and the t-stat housing neck had some ugly stuff built up in there.
