Better Built Barns was established by the Brown family in out of a home garage in Dallas, Oregon. They previously owned a dairy farm, but hard times forced them to shut down the family farm. The Browns had just enough money to move to Oregon and build the first shed to display at a local home show. After a little while, the family moved the business into a storage space and decided that they should try to build a reputable name through marketing. The business implemented different advertising formats, but also knew the importance of the word-of-mouth recommendations from happy customers. Better Built Barns still relies on customer satisfaction and will always see the importance in superior customer service. It was perfect timing, as the economic downturn was just beginning.
