Their leader, Sovereign Spaw, has several tasks for you to complete regarding the Duergar that are invading their land. After defeating them, Sovereign Glut wants to see what you did to them. That means you must return to the Ebonlake Grotto and beat him in combat. This area is not too far from the Arcane Tower, and you can choose to prepare accordingly before the battle. Now, when you make your way to the Grotto , none of the citizens will attempt to fight you. This will remain true until you reach Sovereign Spaw and speak with him. The only option you have is to pick to fight Sovereign Spaw. I was able to take out Sovereign Spaw in a single round. This occurred because I had prepared my team properly, and I had one of my party members push Spaw off the side of his cliff, and he hit the ground for nearly his entire health bar. This ended the encounter immediately.

There's a lot good here Only Spaw needs to be killed to win the fight, but failing to do so quickly can spiral into a difficult battle.
