Big brother season 25 episode 4
Big Brother 25 episode 4 saw the first eviction of the summer, leaving the house down two houseguests by the time the evening was over. After Big Brother 25 episode 3 saw Hisam Goueli win the power of veto, he had a difficult decision to make when he was faced with whether to use the power to remove a nominee from the block. Hisam heard both nominees out, but because he's aligned with one of the nominees, Felicia Cannon, and didn't want to rock the boat, he chose not to use the veto on either nominee. Felicia and her fellow nominee, Kirsten Elwin , stayed on the block, but things were just getting started in the BB 25 house. When houseguest Luke Valentine broke the Big Brother code of conduct by using a racial slur, he was ejected from the house without a chance at redemption. The houseguests were floored, but found out that the eviction would go on as planned. With things getting down to the wire, the houseguests had a tough decision to make as they had to choose one of their own to leave. As Kirsten dealt with the fact that Hisam wouldn't be using the power of veto, she was having a hard time coming to terms with the fact that she could be the first houseguest evicted. Kirsten felt shunned by the rest of the house, who were isolating her throughout the week once they'd decided she'd be the first to go. Though Kirsten was hoping to find a Hail Mary play somewhere, it started to become clear to her that her efforts could be futile with the house so severely split. As Head Of Household, Reilly Smedley felt torn up about the idea of letting Kirsten go even though she'd named her the sole target. After Reilly spoke to some other members of her alliance, she was considering flipping the vote on her side of the house and doing her best to get Felicia out so that Kirsten would feel indebted to her. If she saved Kirsten, even though she'd gunned to get her out of the house all week, Kirsten would feel like she owed Reilly. The decision wasn't clear as the episode continued, and Reilly remained torn.
