I always seemed to get them in waves from login rewards, so I've gone for months without having any before and I don't think it will bother me to do that again.

Salvage results for 17 kits on exotic armor and weapons yielded I had thought that insignia and inscriptions were "rarer items" so, do they not drop from BLSKs or was this just a long run of bad RNG? What are the 17 items? From dungeon vendor? Only items with the stats not craftable with t6 mats will drop the insignias and inscriptions. None were dungeon vendor but they were craftable.

Salvage kits are items used for salvaging , a process of breaking down various items and upgrade components into crafting materials. The salvaging process always destroys the item and consumes one charge of the kit. The more expensive kits are better at salvaging upgrade components and generate more of the higher-tier crafting materials than their cheaper counterparts.
