By Heepnose. Interested to see what people are playing in the open world? I've been playing more guardian in strikes and feel like running in open world too so looking for some inspiration. But actually Axe and Longbow on Core guardian spread a lot of burnings, it looks like Hell, and clean pack of mobs really really fast, so I keep playing it. Con : Axe without quickness feels terribly slow. I totally forgot LB 1 didn't bounce anymore, but it's still good. No mobility like sword. No toolkits like virtues on FB, DH Otherwise I guess vipere would be better. LB obviously not the best weapon for condi, but it has nice range for OW and againt many mobs like rifts t2-t3 actually it spreads good burning. Firebrand is not a good build to solo hard bounties due the sustain is meh and the damage low, and any attempt to push one sinks the other, but is excellent for everything else HPs, regular events, regular champions and harder ones as the bounty bandits, etc. The build has so much tools reflects, aegis, stability access, AoE cc and damage

While its name could suggest otherwise, Guardian is an extraordinary fighter, smiting opponents with fiery consecration and slicing with powerful and dynamic sword-wielding techniques. You gain access to nearly permanent Fury , almost 25 Might stacks with very decent Resolution , some Quickness , and a multitude of on-demand defensive boons. Core Guardian shares many fundamental gameplay elements with the end-game Power Dragonhunter build, which could be your next build to unlock.

Guardian is arguably the most well-rounded class in GW2, with an excellent balance between ease of use, DPS, and flexible build options. Basic Guardian gameplay is simple, which makes it easy for new players to use. This class has the ease of use and durability of a Warrior, with much higher damage. I have firebrand mostly open but I really like DH with a great sword. Note that the expansion version of this build uses weaponmaster to equip a longbow. All this, and the fact that Resolution alone is a very powerful defensive boon, make this buff crucial for this build.
