Captain sim
By keithb77December 30, in Microsoft Flight Simulator Pretty bad, captain sim, but in truth the VC is really nice and a pleasant place to be in VR, so it's worth trying to fix the worst problems.
I was specifically looking at the Captain Sim , and base model aircraft for P3Dv5. I'm just wondering what people think of these planes. They look nice in the photos but I want to know how deep the systems go and how accurate are the flight models for them. I had a difficult time finding reviews of these planes but I did find a couple regarding the , two separate reviews said the flight model is trash but I would like more feedback on that. I couldn't find any useful reviews on the other two planes.

They completely wiped any existence of it Hi, I own all the CaptainSim aircraft you mention :captain sim, and
I used to love their , and C On top of that, with a very high-quality B offering from PMDG on the horizon, it makes even less sense to be considering this Frankenstein equivalent. All the people that paid into Captain Sim … Sometimes lesion have to be learned with cash. When you know better, you do better. I was just musing on what would happen to those products that rely on the default systems. But as has been mentioned, CS probably wouldnt even update the to be compatible. Why on Earth would you want to fly that instead of the Asobo ?
Since the release of Microsoft Flight Simulator, simmers have been craving the first long-haul third-party aircraft. Simply put, this is one of the worst payware releases from a known developer in many years. Over the years, Captain Sim has had a rocky relationship with the community. During the early years, they established themselves as a developer who would make good looking add-ons but with a lack of system depth and detail that would make them stand out compared to others. There were always a handful of issues that stopped their aircraft from becoming must-haves, but often they developed aircraft in a particular niche which gave them an advantage. Then the Captain III was released and suddenly, a somewhat decent simulation of the narrow-body Boeing jet was available for Prepar3D. After years of promises from Level-D for a good , many settled for the Captain Sim version. It did a good job and actually received a number of great free updates that added a number of requested features.

Saw the sales pitch, might even have gotten an email from them, but I dislike the whole Star Wars thing as much as most people on here seem to dislike CS, so I was never going to buy it. If I can get it for a good sale price, there's a good chance I will snag it. I had no idea. CS to get one livery at a time two counting 4door and 6 door variants. The CS is not a bad aircraft. Joseph29 I remember back in the day how acclaimed their and other products were. They may have dodgy business practises but they've never actually swindled me, and as far as I'm aware they're not out there clubbing baby seals or dropping bombs on anybody, so I will likely continue to poke my nose in here when I can be bothered to try and water down the vitriol a bit and that's not a reference to you Steve. So what do you guys think? Recommended Posts. Don't try this if you aren't sure you can do it. As long as it has enough systems modeled to keep me interested and the flight modelling is decent, that's mostly what I care about.
Captain Sim, a name that lately resonates with skepticism within the flight simulation community, has announced their latest offering for Microsoft Flight Simulator the Boeing Base Pack. This new add-on promises to deliver a set of two highly detailed digital replicas of the Boeing equipped with Rolls-Royce BR engines. In the case of the venerable , Captain Sim promises a model with high-resolution textures, a cabin with 3D windows and interiors, animated pilots, and realistic animations.
At this point, even if someone made some mods that made her fly better and less like a , I still can't see myself flying her, knowing that Sherv and Bluebird are making one that will bring back the glory days of LDS and even further back if you've been around the hobby that long. We don't need to talk about the model, it's very good. Posted December 31, edited. Some developers, like this one, do not even attempt to provide the full systems experience , but of those that do, most recognise that there are those who will still buy the full systems experience , even though they will never understand its complexities and have no interest in doing so. Serious want to know how they got those customers to "return" their purchases. To me, the main reason I bought them on discount is that there are simply no decent alternative to these for P3D. I had no idea. Bdub22 1,
. C Captain. Those really are converted Captain Sim planes? Keep me logged in Register Forgot Password? I really want to know about the as well. I do like to catch a good sale on aircraft that I know I will want to buy eventually..
As that interestingly sounds
Rather valuable phrase
Many thanks for an explanation, now I will know.
