Chris Kratt is a member of the Wild Kratts crew and the younger of the two Kratt brothers. Together, he and his brother Martin Kratt are the main protagonists of Wild Kratts. Chris is the more sensible and analytical of the two, and is characterized by the color green. Chris is a young man of average height he is shorter than his older brother, Martin , with bulkier body, tan skin, brown eyes, and dark brown hair with the bangs spiked up. His usual attire consists of khaki shorts, hiking boots, a white undershirt and a green quarter-zip and black stripes running across the sides, with the sleeves rolled up; he typically wears his Creature Power Suit over this outfit. Chris's leg calves are bulkier like his brother. During underwater adventures, he wears a wetsuit. In " Bass Class ", neither he nor Martin actually wear their hiking boots, remaining barefooted throughout the episode. Chris is very similar to his older brother, Martin. He is smart, curious, and loves making jokes and pulling pranks. But unlike his brother, Chris likes being organized, careful, responsible, and tries to carefully think things through before jumping to conclusions. He is also more technically inclined, patient, attentive, and focused than his brother, and is quick to notice details, however he can also be clueless as well as shown in " Mystery of the Squirmy Wormy " and " Little Howler ". There are also times when he gets overexcited about discovering new creatures as seen in " Octopus Wildkratticus " and " Mosquito Dragon ". His childish, little brother side is shown more in the beginning of " Fossa-Palooza ", when he refuses to leave Madagascar without seeing a fossa until Martin brings up their mom's unhappiness when they missed Mother's Day once. There is also a time when he is careless, as seen in " Opossum in my Pocket " where he unknowing left his backpack in the forest, because he had to rush back to the Tortuga before sunset and then he didn't notice about it until he got back to the Tortuga.
After a tense few days, PBS ultimately decided to take over the production, allowing the series to live on, chris martin kratt. They guest starred on the Nature Cat episode "Wild Batts" as the "bat brothers".
Then suddenly, Chris and I realized our feet were getting wet. They scrambled to protect their video equipment in a waterproof bag as the boat plunged into the river, where the brothers soon found themselves face-to-face with several giant otters. Perpetually clad in cargo shorts, Chris always wears green shirts while Martin dons blue so kids can tell them apart. Even in a Zoom interview for this story, the brothers remain committed to the Kratts Sartorial Code. But the public television mainstays, now beloved by children across several generations, were once not quite so understood by grown-ups. So they set about making their own nature documentaries.
