Church Farm Holiday Village is a great place for a family holiday away from the hustle and bustle. It's in stunning Sussex, just down the road from Bognor Regis, officially the sunniest place in England! Here's how mum-of-two Emily got on when she visited with her family Upon arrival, we were met by a very polite lady who was able to help direct us to the caravan that we had been assigned to. As you drive through the entrance, you are able to start to see where all of the activities are and the play areas for the children. Once we had found our home for the week, we entered the door to a very nice surprise of all our essentials we requested; bed guard, travel cot and high chair which was really organised and nice to know it was communicated and ready for us.

We've stayed on a few Haven sites and can safely say this is the best one yet. All the staff were friendly and helpful in every area of the park from entertainment staff to those in the shop. The site is smaller than some and doesn't have the full range of Haven facilities as the larger parks but everything is there for a great family holiday. The only downside was some slightly rough ball play in the pool by older teens which no-one from the many watching staff church farm haven reviews willing to ask them to tone down, leaving a few of the families with younger visitors including us feeling a bit anxious we were in constant danger of being hit! We arrived at church Farm excited but as we got through the gate we thought where is everything?.. Its was clean and looked reasonably new, although almost all of the net curtains were ripped and the mattresses were cheaper than cheap. The telly turnt off when you moved it. We unpacked straight away and set off to explore. We found our way to the "complex" and discovered the swimming pool which is no more than a paddling pool. Feeling disheartened we set off for the park and that monstrosity is what sent us straight to reception for a refund and drive back home disappointed.

We needed a dog friendly caravan and at the time of booking only Prestige models were available, so in a way we were spoilt straight away as I probably would have just booked the Deluxe grade.
