Each companion has a fairly thorough relationship, whether it be romantic, purely sexual, or just friendship. NPCs that can temporarily join the party as a fourth companion - or be taken control of by the Player to star in their own events. Similar to companions, followers can assist the Champion at a limited capacity, but do not take up a companion slot nor contribute significant dialogue. Recurring encounters are interactions that have a specific tile the NPCs in question can be found on. Roaming encounters are NPC interactions that are only available while out exploring.
