Flooding has resulted in poor road conditions in the area and 4WD access is recommended. A detour is in place at McClure Bend due to standing flood water. Access tracks across the State Forest may also be closed due to flood water. For safety reasons, do not drive through flood waters or past road closures.

A current NSW recreational fishing licence is required when fishing in all waters.

Rafting is a great way to explore and there's a range of guided tours on offer.
