With the 22 version, adidas amplified the iconic wraparound outsole design elements. The single Twist Grip wrap at the ball of the foot has been replaced by three larger segments. And, at the heel, the plain overlay now includes more coverage and the traction elements. My feet immediately enjoyed the inviting cushioning of the insole. The lacing pattern allowed me to precisely snug up the fit. The toe box offered a little wiggle room without sacrificing a cozy fit. Walking in the shoes I immediately noted a slightly higher arch than in previous generations. Besides being supportive, the arch seemed to assist in positioning my weight towards the outside of my heels in my golf stance. The shoes flowed naturally while walking.

I have put in heel protectors and they help alot, I just wish there was something they would do for the heel comfort.

The styling will divide opinion but it has really grown on us and we really enjoyed the performance this shoe offers.
