Hari thanks for clearing up the confusion about which changes in conditions can amp up the cell voltage Your explanation was spot on Thankful. Yo, thanks for tackling the electrochemical cell equation question Your breakdown of the options and the correct answer really hit the mark Appreciate it Props. Massive thanks for laying out the solution to the electrochemical cell reaction question Your clarity on why option B is the correct answer was on point AppreciateIt. Here increased the pressure of increase the places off H two G. They didn't will increase the will increase the cell voltage. So according to the option in this problem, we can say that option B is correct. Option B.

We will treat a galvanic cell as a system. The cell has two metal wires called terminals that pass through the system boundary. Within the cell are phases that can conduct an electric current and are collectively called electrical conductors. Each terminal is attached to an electron conductor that is usually a metal, but might also be graphite or a semiconductor. Each electron conductor is in contact with an ionic conductor , usually an electrolyte solution, through which ions but not electrons can move.
Consider the following equation for a cell reaction
When exposed to moisture, steel will begin to rust fairly quickly. This creates a significant problem for items like nails that are exposed to the atmosphere. The nails can be protected by being coated with zinc metal, to make a galvanized nail. The zinc is more likely to oxidize than the iron in the steel, so it prevents rust from developing on the nail. In order to function, any electrochemical cell must consist of two half-cells. The table below can be used to determine the reactions that will occur and the standard cell potential for any combination of two half-cells, without actually constructing the cell. The half-cell with the higher reduction potential according to the table will undergo reduction within the cell. The half-cell with the lower reduction potential will undergo oxidation within the cell. If those specifications are followed, the overall cell potential will be a positive value. The cell potential must be positive in order for redox reaction of the cell to be spontaneous in the reverse direction.

When the zinc atoms lose electrons the zinc ions go into solution and the 2 electrons flow away from this electrode into the external circuit. When they arrive at the copper electrode, they are picked up by the copper II ions to become copper atoms.
