Before you remove the corruption however, remember to get some corruption seeds for the corruption and make a mini-biome above ground, like a mushroom biome, in case you need something that drops from the enemies there. Secure the mini-biome with something that can't be corrupted like wood, clay, obsidian and ores. Or else it will spread.
