There is some coordination to work out with when to blow and when to draw, but once you get it worked out, this is a nice melody that can bring joy to you and those who hear you for years to come. In this level, we are going to add some hand wah to shape the tone of the notes. If you are playing nice clean single notes consistently with ease, you may be ready to start learning how to bend. Hey everybody! That way we can take care of all the chords, playing each part, putting it all together — all that stuff. This lesson is going to focus heavily on the fingerpicking aspect of it all. Anyways, we go through it shape by shape, adapting our pattern for the G chord C, Em and D. And then we use those four shapes with that picking pattern and play through the entire verse, and then the entire chorus.

Welcome to my Country Roads chord chart by John Denver. Most of the chords are open. The only tricky part is at the bridge where and F chord pops in, but you can you the easy version below to get through it. And on the D7 just keep strumming away on the D chord.
