To make some sense of Courtney and her motives I have made a theory about her untold backstory. Most people act the way they do because of how they were raised. I believe her mother was a cold, judgmental, workaholic law firm owner who treated Courtney as a project rather than a daughter. And of course Courtney adopted this mentality. And when she failed her mother stuck it to her big time. I imagine her father being even worse of workaholic and was almost never around. He showered Courtney with gifts to make up for it.

Such examples were in Phobia Factor where Courtney scolds her team for mocking Tyler's fear, Basic Straining , where she stands up for Harold against Duncan and Geoff, and in Jamaica Me Sweat , when she is the only one to acknowledge the injured Izzy and Owen. As an overachiever, she has a tendency to overreact when things go wrong, and drives herself crazy in order to get what she wants. She has become notorious among the contestants for constantly reminding them of her counselor-in-training experience, resulting in their constant annoyance. However, throughout her four competing seasons, the severity of Courtney's behavior becomes extremely antagonistic. When she wants something, she will fight to the death to get it, with no regard for the safety of others, going as far to leave people in danger, hence losing her former friendly and civil nature.

In "The EX-Files", she laughed rather obnoxiously when Duncan courtney tdi zapped with a laser while pretending to flirt with Tyler. Courtney is a character in the Total Drama series. She competes fully in Island and World Tour, and starts competing halfway through Action. Starting out, Courtney would try to push her status as a C. Her refusal to jump the cliff in TDI02 put her into the bottom two of that episode's elimination ceremony. She seems to learn her lesson, as she doesn't get into the bottom two until her elimination in TDI She is seen as somewhat volatile, seeing as in TDI11 she convinced her teammates to vote off Sadie only because Sadie made a mistake in the WIlliam Tell challenge.
