I will resolve this to YES if it is possible to do so upon release. If not, I will wait for 1 month before resolution, during which time, we can try different techniques. I've had a fair bit of success generating gory and violence related images but it is refusing the pornographic images to my naive attempts. It's quite good at generating violence related things, such as this. ChatGPT says directly that context matters, so that representations of classical art etc are allowed, but it would refuse a request that was explicitly for a pornographic image. That is not something they are going to patch since it was intentional. When does this start counting, in 6 days the 1 month since release, or is it anytime between 6 days from now and end of January?

I just wanted to let everyone know, If you get the description right, you can generate hyper realistic nsfw images. Since some parts of human anatomy really don't differ in looks, It only takes the AI a very vague knowledge of how to regenerate a new image of something like that. I don't know exactly how they filter out nsfw imagery, but one of the largest concerns they always had was not just filter out terms, it was people could use loopholes to describe something without actually asking for a blatant nsfw image. Now if you don't know what that's supposed to look like then that's your problem, but its hard for the computer to filter these things, and it becomes a bigger problem when the images generated are so realistic like the real Dall-e 2. When it comes to descriptions, there are a lot of things that resemble other things that arent as good. But how would you filter explicit imagery??? If you generate the image and then post-generation a computer decides that your image is nsfw, then there can be false positives that arise. Lets say you love flowers. But unfortunately you just don't have a camera but happen to have full access to dall-e 2 and it just so happens its winter and there are no flowers around! As a flower enthusiast you want a picture of a flower on your wall but dont feel like stealing somebody elses so you decide to generate a picture of your favorite flower, a Hydnora Africana. So you wait and wait. But nothing!
I can get why the people who worked hard on it and spent money building it don't want to be associated with porn.
I think that using something like this for porn could potentially offer the biggest benefit to society. So much has been said about how this industry exploits young and vulnerable models. Cheap autogenerated images and in the future videos would pretty much remove the demand for human models and eliminate the related suffering, no? EDIT: typo. Depends whether you think models should be able to generate cp. It's almost impossible to even give an affirmative answer to that question without making yourself a target.

And as much as I err on the side of creator freedom, I find myself shying away from saying yes without qualifications.

Come on come on dont leave me like this
The Overton window for pornography has continued to move to more and more extreme forms as what was once considered unacceptable and taboo becomes socially acceptable. Which topics will be discussed on the Lex Fridman podcast episode with Sam Altman? You missed my point a little. The term actually has a bunch of different meanings in different contexts, including some things that aren't porn. I'm wondering how true that is. Fernicia on April 7, root parent next [—] Did they need to put possums in space suits to tell Dell-E 2 how to render them? The point is more "can you conceive of a headshot before you've ever witnessed one? You could make the argument that we have fine laws around porn right now, and that we should simply follow those. I'm not saying that AI will pass all Turing tests. Read David Foster Wallace's essay on it.

That there may be a market for AI girlfriends? There seems to be a small issue in GP's logical inference to me, in that he places artificial CP as proportional and wholly inferior replacement to real CP. Some people are interested in what's taboo and off limits and so long as they are approaching or just crossing that line, they're happy. In your example, if someone is predisposed to wanting to shoot actual people in the head, exposing them to video game headshots may distract in the short term but desensitizes and entrenches the image in the long term, possibly making it easier to decide to pull the trigger later on if they are sufficiently inhibited of social concerns. How do you suppose your CP generator will be trained without using authentic CP images? Or some such, it's been a while. I obviously can't speak for enjoyers of CP. Please tell me your being sarcastic… This is arguably the most insipid and stupid crippling of a powerful tool for content creation I can think of. There are even HN discussions tying all of these technologies together, by comparing attitudes towards the availability of Tor vs guns e. Religious people don't only believe that porn harms the models, but also the user. Truth is always boring. The assumptions that HN commenters find cis-normal females sexually appealing, and that they can't get a date.
Yes, it is solved.
Anything.
