When out exploring the world of Days Gone players will be able to do a wide array of different activities to keep themselves busy. In order to travel the world effectively though players will need to take good care of Deacon's trusty motorcycle. This ultimately means that players will need to spend a lot of time doing repairs on the bike when it takes damage and ensuring that it has plenty of fuel. Another great way to keep the bike in tip-top shape is to complete as many upgrades as the player can. Each upgrade to the bike will boost its stats in different ways, which makes the bike perform better. There are a wide array of upgrades that the player will have access to, so knowing which ones to focus on is very important.

While each hold crucial abilities to help aid in your survival, here are the skills that we think are absolutely critical in Days Gone. Choose the other skills based on your preferred playstyle. Unfortunately, they can break fairly easily depending on the type, leaving you with nothing but a dinky boot knife. Keep an eye on the durability though -- if it falls to zero, the weapon will still break without the option of repairing it. Did we mention that ammo was scarce already? We did. However, with so many options to unlock, and so few points to spend at any one time, deciding what to get first can be quite the challenge. Days Gone features three skill trees split into equally important sections; Melee, Ranged, and Survival. Each provides players with useful power-ups to Deacon as he struggles to survive in a post-apocalyptic world filled with bloodthirsty Freakers and humans alike. Though it isn't as important as some of the other skills on this list, being able to see where each enemy is positioned waiting to attack the player, the skill will come to be quite beneficial while sneaking through certain areas. This is very helpful especially since you will have a lot of opportunities to fight with Melee and ammunition for guns is scarce. Engine 1 - Those who want to increase their bike's speed will want to invest some credits into the engine.
