If you enjoy a good self-assertive clomp as I do though, these are the shoes for you. They look as gorgeous as they do in the picture. The thick sole adds height that really works for this short gal. I was surprised at the padding around the ankle but it really helps with the movement of the ankle and the fact that with buckles sometimes one hole is a little loose but the next is a little tight.
