Can someone describe the work needed to integrate Discogs as a data source in Lidarr? I already integrated it into my Headphone fork in a quick and dirty way. It was barely usable because of the limit rate they impose.

I'm a frequent contributor to the Discogs database and I'm trying to work out some shortcuts in their release edit section. First off to get to the release edit page you have to click on Edit Release on the main release pages. This takes you to a History page where you need to click on Edit Release yet again to get to the editor. I'm trying to build a shortcut that will click on the link Edit Release pause for the next page to load and then click on Edit Release again. I can't even get that to work you'd think that's the idea behind the action Click Safari Link, but I can't make that work. It doesn't appear that Frames or Javascript are interfering — but how could you even tell if they were? FYI -You'd have to be signed in as a Discogs user to test this. Any other Discogs editors here? Any KM tips for Discogs editing are appreciated. I started to click Allow JavaScript from Apple Events , but got a scary warning about being open to malicious code I'm starting to think that JavaScript is being employed since this link I want to target "Edit Release" will react differently depending upon if you are logged into Discogs or not. In the meantime ignore the scary warning about enabling JavaScript — it's overly paranoid rambling by Apple. As Peter Lewis KM developer is wont to say: "If a malicious intruder is able to make use of this feature they already have enough control of your Mac that JS from AE is the least of your worries. I'm using the Click Front Browser Link action instead of the Safari action, and I recommend you always do this unless you're running more than one supported web browser at a time.

Let It Be The project was initiated by Paul McCartney , who felt that the original album's producer, Phil Spector , did not capture the group's stripped-down, live-to-tape aesthetic intended for the album. The album is presented in a form which Paul McCartney considered closer to its original artistic vision: to "get back" to the rock and roll sound of their early years [3] rather than the orchestral overdubs and embellishments which were added by Phil Spector to three of the songs in the production of the final Let It Be album. McCartney in particular was always dissatisfied with Spector's mixes of these three tracks, especially for the song " The Long and Winding Road ". McCartney's attitude contrasted with Lennon's from his December interview with Rolling Stone magazine. Lennon had defended Spector's work, saying, "He was given the shittiest load of badly recorded shit — and with a lousy feeling to it — ever. And he made something out of it

Let It Be is the twelfth and final studio album by the English rock band the Beatles. It was released on 8 May , almost a month after the group's public break-up , in tandem with the documentary of the same name. Concerned about recent friction within the band, Paul McCartney had conceived the project as an attempt to reinvigorate the group by returning to simpler rock 'n' roll configurations. The filmed rehearsals were marked by ill feeling, leading to George Harrison 's temporary departure from the group. As a condition of his return, the members reconvened at their own Apple Studio , and recruited guest keyboardist Billy Preston. Together, they performed a famous single public concert held on the studio's rooftop on 30 January, from which three of the album's tracks were drawn. As bootlegs of these mixes circulated widely among fans, [2] the project lay in limbo, and the group moved onto the recording of Abbey Road , released that September. The former was issued as the second single from the album with production by George Martin.

The single version of the song, produced by George Martin , features a softer guitar solo and the orchestral section mixed low, compared with the album version, produced by Phil Spector , featuring a more aggressive guitar solo and the orchestral sections mixed higher. At the time, it had the highest debut on the Billboard Hot , beginning its chart run at number 6 and eventually reaching the top. It was the Beatles' final single before McCartney announced his departure from the band.

Naked Reviews - Metacritic". Discogs integration would be awesome indeed :. Therefore adding the data missing from MB would be the best solution as it would mean no changes to Lidarr whatsoever. Even more popular artists have massive chunks of their library missing on Musicbrainz. This means my collection, purchased from the artist or their label, can be frustratingly incomplete. Is there a way to tell? Maybe just use MB to fill in any gaps since the last discogs dump? It makes switching between browsers much more convenient. Reading this thread with interest as I spend a significant amount of time adding missing music to MusicBrainz so I have a greater view of my collection. Archived from the original on 17 May TheHutt , Aug 1, I often dig by label, and most small and independent labels reference their releases on Discogs but not on MusicBrainz.

.

NET and thought that you might manage to connect Soulseek to Lidarr. The biggest issue with MB, aside from it missing almost everything that's isn't popular, is that anyone can put in whatever info, correct or not. Naked' " [The story behind 'Let It Be I can't even get that to work you'd think that's the idea behind the action Click Safari Link, but I can't make that work. Well, Netherlands is the country, also called Holland. I get that adding it to musicbrainz is a thing, but it's just so overwhelming when it's such a high percentage of my discs. Things that we believe in whole-heatedly and want to help support and help grow. Hi ta thanks a lot for giving it a thought ; To me the main advantage of Discogs over MusicBrainz is the point 1: Discogs has artists and releases that MusicBrainz does not. I'm using the Click Front Browser Link action instead of the Safari action, and I recommend you always do this unless you're running more than one supported web browser at a time. You want to look up music, you use Discogs. Californian I did look into trying to find a resolution by writing a script to find the difference in databases but both databases are so haphazard that I deemed the effort too time consuming.
