I'm on the Breanna Ashworth level, and so far I've stuck with low chaos but not non-lethal and I've saved all targets. I mind shocked Jindoshn, etc. But if i've done non lethal except for the first guard guy with the ring, I accidentally killed him and keep with low chaos, all side missions, and non-lethal executions do i get the best ending?
The sort of people you probably shouldn't feel all that guilty killing, because they're all part of the main reason the country is in such terrible shape in the first place.
In a game built for creatively dealing with enemies, but it doesn't make sense to spare them all. Dishonored 2 is a unique experience, founded on the difficult stealth mechanics of the past augmented by the supernatural abilities we find in many games today. Like the original Dishonored , chaos is a contributing factor to how everything plays out at the end. Determined at the end of each mission by how many enemies you lethally take down, your chaos level is measured by the amount of bloodflies you see swarming around you throughout the game, and if you end up getting it too high? It wouldn't even necessarily be so bad if it only counted innocent civilians against you, with you still able to kill the more "evil" characters with impunity, but when the only way to get the best ending is to avoid killing more or less entirely - when nearly everyone you meet is actively hostile to you - that's bad design in a game that claims to allow you to play multiple ways.
