Draw an oc

As the title suggests, in this thread you have to draw the OC of the person above you in order to get your own OC drawn by someone else, draw an oc. Then see who pics up the challenge. I apologize If my explanation is still unclear. English isn't my first language but I'm happy to answer any draw an oc.

I have been drawing my OC's for a long time, and I'm quite enjoying it. When I was searching on the internet, especially DA, I saw a lot of fan arts and drawings based on a mainstream style. You know those Sonic style, Steven Universe styles, Eddsworld style, anime style and whatnot? And because of this, I planned on drawing a fan art so that I might try drawing other characters and see if it's my thing. I was kinda good at drawing cartoon-based fan art.

It's that girl again, and today I will be showing you how I draw my ocs! You can also use this to draw your own if you want! Carry on. Yea Yea, but this wouldn't be a step by step 'tutorial' if I didn't include the most important part, would it? Anyways, start out with a circle. Very educational, right? Everyone has their own way of drawing heads so go on. Draw your version of a head. The circles placed randomly and the random short line are actually adaptations from my elementary school art teacher Mrs. I don't remember.. The circles represent the future joints of the body. The 'random' little sideways mark is there to mark the heel of the foot. And the rectanglish boxes mark the chest and lower section. Make sure to sketch lightly, or you'll regret it!

Is it bad when I only draw OC's?

.

One of the best parts of creating an OC is putting them through their paces. Original characters shine their brightest when shared, and they can benefit from being used in challenges that push creators as writers and artists. CharacterHub has loads of challenges you can participate in with your original characters. Here are 17 challenges you can share with CharacterHub on social media to help you develop and spotlight your OCs. There are plenty of art and writing challenges if you want to push yourself as an artist. These challenges are primarily for social media; if you are a social media user, CharacterHub will share your results. It just requires tagging CharacterHub and sharing with the right hashtags. Learn more about them with each challenge. Register for an account with CharacterHub and create entries for your OCs. You can invite other CharacterHub users to participate as well.

Hey there artists of the internet! First things first, you need to have a general idea of what your OC looks like. Once you have a general idea, you can start to flesh out the details.

The circles represent the future joints of the body. There's nothing wrong with drawing your own characters at all. I didn't find any thread of that sort that was still active though. It's always been true that there's some money to be made in jumping on bandwagons, but you're more likely to contribute something meaningful to the form by doing your own thing. You should definitely feel fine about only drawing in your own style and your own OC's. There you go. I know that self-consciousness is a strong thing, but no matter what you see, I promise you that drawing OC's is as legitimate as drawing fan art! This was fun. I stopped drawing fan art years ago because people are shallow and only pay attention to that but ignore your original art. You might find yourself at a disadvantage in terms of building a following, because it's quite a bit harder to market original work than it is to supply an existing fanbase with art of characters they already love, but I think you'll find the fans you do gain for your original work are more loyal in the long run, because they're there for you, not for Steven Universe. I particularly enjoy drawing long flowing hair lol - as you can tell from the picture I uploaded of my character. You know those Sonic style, Steven Universe styles, Eddsworld style, anime style and whatnot? Who's not to say that you won't experiment again, whether you recognize the experimentation or not?

Hey there! Did you watch an anime or read a book with a demon character or other dark creatures that got your creative juices flowing?

There's no need to be guilty about anything. More from Inkyyyy. Gaayathri zzstu Akula. You have experimented before, and this lead to your rich art today! KoreanTacos UTC 6. Hope you like it. Okay so it's my turn now Also I hope this kind of topic doesn't exist already. Maybe tackle that drawing request again, but draw that character in a style you're comfortable with, rather than the anime style. Um you can pick whoever you like from these 4. Here's what I have right now. Get App. But yeah, for the main question: Is it bad to draw only OCs? It's just easier that way. KoreanTacos UTC 9.
