The man, the myth, the legend. Siegward, the jubilant knight of Catarina, is one of Dark Souls 3 's most memorable characters, and in a game full of memorable characters, that's saying something. The fan favorite Onion Knight is on his own journey, but he's never one to hesitate going out of his way to help you or yours. From the Undead Settlement to the Profaned Capital, Siegward has a rather long quest line but every moment of it is worth it. There are, however, a few things about Siegward and his quest line that don't make much sense. Let's take a look. One of the most notable aspects about Siegward is the distinct appearance of his armor.

The games of Dark Souls are full of many strange characters, with backstories that can frequently only be surmised through hints dropped in dialogue and descriptions found on items. One particularly strange group of individuals are the Onion Knights of Catarina, as they look nearly identical, but are in fact three different characters: Siegmeyer, Sieglinde, and Siegward. Dark Souls is a series of three third-person action games. They have been hugely influential in establishing mechanics that form the basis of a subgenre of game referred to as " soulslike. Dark Souls is also infamous for its esoteric lore, much of which has to be derived from context clues in the environment or from conversations with NPCs in the games. The Onion Knights is actually a derogatory term used to refer to the Knights of Catarina, a land not actually seen in the Dark Souls games. The Knights of Catarina garner their nickname from the onion-shaped armor they wear. This Dark Souls armor set is known as Catarina armor. Players in all three games can purchase Catarina armor from certain vendors or find it after completing certain quests. Siegmeyer and Sieglinde are both found in the first Dark Souls game and have a rather tragic storyline. Players will likely encounter Siegmeyer first, a lone undead knight who appears in certain locations and requests the player's help. Elsewhere in the game, players can encounter Sieglinde after freeing her from being trapped in a Golden Crystal Golem. Sieglinde, it turns out, is Siegmeyer's daughter. She is looking for her father as her mother has died, and Sieglinde wants to pass on her final words.
Roll down into the area below, but be wary of the Sewer Centipedes lying in wait. Nothing in Dark Souls 3 is done by accident.
Please note there are bugs in this questline addressed with patch 1. He will be located just past Eygon of Carim , and he will be coming up the lift. After speaking with him and exhausting his dialogue, he will move to a ledge nearly at the top of the lift. You can roll off if timed right and speak with him again. Cathedral of the Deep is a Location in Dark Souls 3. The area consists of a huge cathedral as well as a graveyard and the surrounding grounds. The area features a very vertical level design, with several shortcuts leading back to a central bonfire Cleansing Chapel Bonfire. The path to Cathedral of the Deep lies in the Crystal Sage's ruins. Can I still get the armour. So, what about skipping the Cathedral area? After killing the crystal sage I missed the entrance for the cathedral and just went back towards the woods and the abyss watchers. Killed them then found out about the deacons of the deep after going through the catacombs but left before fighting the boss. Did the tower key, no Patches, no armor, no helpless siegward in a well. I do not want to start all over lol. I now have to beat the whole game again to get the 1 peice of armor i am missing for the sunlight warrior set that I want.

In my most recent playtrought I think he glitched ot something, starting the Yhorm battle, he runs up to attack Yhorm and in the 5 seconds it took me to go and grab the stormruler he was nowhere to be found , only his items on the ground remained. I'm loathe to admit it, but I've been had. Take the elevator up and open the door.
