It does an excellent job of picking up pet hair as well as solid debris, and performance remains consistent as its dirt compartment fills up. Although its build quality is just okay, with plastic components that feel a bit fragile, it's fairly easy to maintain. It also does a decent job of handling debris in cracks and crevices, like grout lines on a tile floor. The Dyson V11 is good for cleaning low-pile carpet. It offers consistently strong performance on this surface type even as the dirt compartment fills up. However, while it's easy to take apart and reassemble, its build quality is only okay, with somewhat fragile plastic construction.
